I highly recommend Jane! After having a not so great birth experience
the first time around, I was so thankful to be taken in by Jane as a
last minute patient at 30 weeks along. She completely changed my
prenatal care from a negative experience
to a very positive one, making me feel valued and understood.
Thank you Jane for bringing my healthy baby boy into this world, for
answering all of my questions and listening to all of my complaints. You
gave me faith when I had been told to expect a bad experience, you
didn’t see a label in me, but rather you treated me with respect and
gave me the courage and strength to keep going and it resulted in such a

Care. Jane has taken care of me through
three pregnancies which ended in beautiful births, and even though each
experience was very different, I always felt compassionately cared for
and well informed.

Jane made all of my fears go away.. With my 1st child I had a very
"medical" birth and it wasnt what I wanted, dreamed or thought I would
experience.. I decided when #2 came along I would be sure to check out a
midwife.. and Jane was the perfect
person to take care of me, and my baby.. I LOVE the way the appointments
were not rushed.. how things were and felt like they were with me in
mind.. not a time schedual of what worked best for the doctor.. A
midwife was the exact thing I needed.. my birth was drug free,
supportive and I was empowered not given up on... I had a Doula as well ,
Erin Hunter and she help support me, and my hubby when the "fun"
started" and I'm happy to say I concider both Jane and Erin friends :)

"In Jan 2005 & June 2008. The
care that I received from NMC during both of my pregnancies was exceptional.
Expert care rooted in holistic practice allowed me to experience both the
pregnancy and the childbirth experience feeling secure and confident. Visits
felt more like a chat with a knowledgeable friend than a clinical experience. I
cannot remember leaving a single appointment without more questions answered
than I had even asked! I have nothing but praise for the care that my spouse
and I received while pregnant, during childbirth and after babe came home.

We were absolutely blessed to have Jane as the midwife with both of our
